Are you still struggling to fall asleep or stay asleep at night? Do you hate waking up, with brain fog and a lack of energy during the day? Or have you tried all the online hacks, pills, supplements, or even prescription sleeping pills without any relief?
Welcome to the Doctor Park community on Locals. Growing up, I also had similar problems with poor sleep, lack of energy, and brain fog. I slept through most of my classes, even in medical school.
But only through years of combing through the research and listening to my patients did I realize that not breathing well at night was contributing to the problem.
As a result, I published my Amazon best-selling book Sleep, Interrupted in 2008. The basis of this book as well as my blog, podcast, and YouTube channel is that all modern humans have trouble breathing at night to various degrees for various reasons.
Only if you address this issue properly can you become completely healthy. But I also learned that treating the breathing problem alone isn’t going to get you to where you want to be.
My mission for this channel is to go beyond breathing to look at the big picture of what it means to be truly healthy. With a few exceptions, I won’t be pushing pills, supplements, or extreme diet plans.
The free content in this community is mainly from my YouTube channel, Doctor Steven Park. But there will be other free content as well. Supporters will have exclusive access to my weekly live streams.
Now, I’m excited to tell you about what I’m doing with my live stream content, which supporters can help create. In early 2022, I offered a live online course called The 90-Day Sleep Diet.
This course helped so many people breathe better, sleep better, lose weight and become more metabolically healthy.
It’s sad to say that doctors still don’t learn this in medical school, and are taught to prescribe medications for everything instead of proven natural options.
I also debunk many harmful lies and ideas that are still practiced today by the medical community. No wonder why the United States is so overweight, sick, sleepless, and tired all the time.
This is what also led to devastating health outcomes during our pandemic, mainly due to our country’s poor metabolic health status. I was thinking about updating and revising the 90-Day Sleep diet course when I had a great idea.
Rather than offer another live course over Zoom, I decided to break it up into weekly 30-minute sessions with 10-15 minutes of teaching and 15 minutes of answering your questions.
I’ll also loosely follow the previous course outline, but update everything and add lots of new and exciting topics as well.
One thing I look forward to sharing with you is the new discovery about the connection between circadian rhythms, mitochondria, and metabolic health. We’ll touch on vaccines and COVID as well.
Some of the material I share is likely to get censored on YouTube, hence the reason why I chose Locals. You’ll see as you hear me talk on this platform about why I left practicing medicine completely.
My ultimate goal is to gather everything over the next 6 months and have it transcribed and edited into a physical book. The recording will live indefinitely on Locals and my course platform, with regular updates as needed.
I also encourage supporters to give me feedback and suggestions for future topics. My answers to your questions will also be incorporated into the book. This way, as a supporter, you’ll take part in developing the content for the final book. And your contribution will be acknowledged in the book.
